Mobility & Shoulder Capacity Coaching

Structured training to improve shoulder mobility, strength, control, and load tolerance for pole athletes performing at high intensity or experiencing movement limitations.

This is a training-based approach to building capacity, not rehabilitation or medical treatment.

Who is this for

This is for athletes who:

  • perform or are working toward high-demand skills (e.g. power pole, dynamic movement, inversions, sustained loading)

  • want to improve how their shoulders and upper body tolerate training stress

  • may or may not currently experience discomfort, but want to reduce risk of breakdown or limitation

  • want structured, progressive capacity building - not generic mobility work

What Changes

Your training becomes more structured around building true capacity, not just mobility or strength in isolation.

We focus on improving:

  • load tolerance in key shoulder positions

  • control across ranges of motion

  • strength at end ranges and under fatigue

  • progressive exposure to higher training demands

Over time, your shoulders become more adaptable to the demands of pole training, allowing you to train harder, more consistently, and with fewer limitations.

Where you are now

You may already be training at a high level, but notice that your shoulders don’t always feel consistent under load.

This might show up as:

  • certain positions feeling painful, unstable or weak

  • fatigue or irritation accumulating with higher training volume

  • hesitation in fully committing to certain movements

  • feeling like you are managing your body instead of fully training it

Or you may simply recognize that your training demands are increasing and want your joints to keep up.

What’s Included

  • Initial Movement + Training assessment (1 live zoom session) - A detailed assessment of your movement, shoulder function, and pole-specific load tolerance. We identify irritability patterns, current limitations, and key training constraints, then establish initial priorities and modifications for your program.

  • Live Training Sessions (2-3 × 30 min) - Hands-on coaching through key exercises and movement patterns with a focus on technique, load tolerance, and safe progression. Sessions include real-time adjustments and refinement based on how your body responds.

  • 6-Week Structured Shoulder Capacity Program - An individualized, pole-specific shoulder training plan designed to build strength, control, and resilience over time. Programming is progressively loaded and adjusted based on your response, with targeted work for stability, range control, and capacity development.

  • Bi-Weekly Check-ins (Email) - Ongoing review of your training response, with adjustments to exercise selection, progression, and load management as needed to ensure appropriate adaptation throughout the 6 weeks

  • Wrap-up Call (30-min) - A final session to review progress, discuss outcomes, and determine next steps for continued training or maintenance.

My Approach

This coaching is based on capacity development for high-demand athletic training.

The goal is to improve how your body produces and tolerates force across the ranges and positions required in pole, building shoulders that are strong, resilient, and adaptable under load.

This is a training-based system for improving performance durability, not a rehabilitation or medical service.
