Competition Prep Coaching for Pole Athletes

Structured, periodized coaching for pole athletes preparing to perform at their highest level on stage.

Focused on building strength, power, skill execution, and recovery management so you peak physically and technically when it matters most.

Who this is for

This is for pole athletes who:

  • are preparing for a specific competition (or have a defined timeline)

  • already train consistently at an intermediate to advanced+ level

  • want structured support leading into a performance peak

  • are serious about optimizing both training and execution under fatigue

This is for pole athletes who don’t just want to compete, but want to show up fully prepared, confident, and performing at their peak.

What Changes

Your training becomes periodized and intentionally structured around your competition timeline.

Strength, power, skill work, and recovery are organized in phases so you build capacity first, then refine execution, and finally taper toward peak performance.

You understand how to adjust output based on fatigue and training response, rather than guessing or pushing blindly through the entire prep phase.

By competition day, you’re strategically prepared to perform at your highest level with confidence in your preparation.

Where you are now

You’re likely already training hard, but your progress may feel inconsistent or difficult to control across a full training cycle.

You may be unsure how to balance:

  • pole skill training

  • strength and conditioning

  • recovery and fatigue

  • performance readiness closer to competition

Without a structured plan, it’s easy to either under-prepare key areas or accumulate fatigue too early in the process.

What’s Included

  • Fully individualized, periodized strength and conditioning program designed to support pole competition performance and peak output at the appropriate time in your prep phase

  • Structured nutrition coaching using a flexible dieting approach to support performance, recovery, training consistency, and body composition management during prep

  • Cardio, conditioning, and recovery recommendations adjusted based on training phase, fatigue levels, and competition timeline

  • Weekly check-ins to review training response, monitor fatigue, and make ongoing adjustments to your program and nutrition strategy

  • Ongoing programming modifications throughout the entire prep process based on performance trends, recovery status, and progression needs

  • Video review and feedback related to strength training execution and movement quality (not pole technique or choreography)

  • Monthly 1:1 strategy calls to review progress, refine periodization, and adjust competition prep strategy as needed

    Please note:

  • This coaching does not include pole technique instruction, choreography, or in-studio skill coaching

  • Guidance may be provided on how to structure, manage, and taper pole practice around training phases, but pole training itself is self-directed or handled by your in-studio coach

Timelines

Competition prep coaching is structured around a defined timeline:

  • 4-month prep (minimum recommended)

  • 6-month prep (ideal for full development and peaking phases)

  • Options for even longer runway to competition (6+ months)

Because of the level of involvement and ongoing programming adjustments, this is a high-touch coaching container.

My Approach

Competition prep is not about simply training harder, but structuring training so adaptation, recovery, and performance readiness occur at the right time across a defined timeline.

My approach is centered on performance periodization, where strength, conditioning, and recovery are organized into distinct phases that progressively build physical capacity, then shift toward performance readiness and tapering.

A key part of this process is managing training load and fatigue so you are able to continue progressing without accumulating unnecessary burnout or early peaking.

Nutrition is also structured with performance in mind, supporting training output, recovery between sessions, and appropriate body composition changes where relevant to competition demands.

The goal is to arrive at competition physically prepared, well-recovered, and appropriately peaked through a structured and intentional process.
